In this episode of Songwriters Interviews I talk to Soren Staff of the band Them Coulee Boys about what it's like to be in a songwriting contest and how to win. I strongly encourage folks to enter in a songwriter competition. It really helps you hone your skills and you get to meet some great people and songwriters. It's not about winning, it's about mustering the courage to share your creation and legitimizes you as someone in the song craft game. It's inspiring to hear other peoples songs too.
